Pricing and Payment Terms

1. Entire Agreement. If you purchase a subscription to Trends, these Trends Payment Terms, in addition to the website Terms of Use available at https://thehustle.co/the-hustle-and-trends-website-terms-of-use/ and the Privacy Policy available at https://legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy, apply to you (collectively, the “Agreement”).

2. Trends pricing. The cost for the Trends subscription is reflected on the Site, and payment is due at the time you subscribe. Your subscription automatically renews each month or year (depending on which account you select), until canceled as explained below, and you will automatically be billed. Fees are fully earned upon payment so there are no refunds or credits for partially used subscription periods. All payment obligations are non-cancelable and all amounts paid are non-refundable.

2.1 Taxes. All fees are exclusive of taxes, which we will charge as applicable. You agree to pay any taxes applicable to your use of the services. You shall have no liability for any taxes based upon our gross revenues or net income.

2.2 Updates to Pricing and Services. We may amend fees and charges for existing services, at any time in our sole discretion. We may modify the services, and we may add new features or services for additional fees. Any change to your pricing or payment terms shall become effective in the next billing cycle. If you do not agree to this increase, you can choose to terminate your subscription at the end of your then-current term by giving the notice required in the Term and Cancellation section below.

3. Payment. You agree to provide a current, valid, payment method accepted by us, as may be updated from time to time, and which may include payment through your account with a third party (“Authorized Payment Method”). We will bill the fees associated with your subscription, plus any applicable tax, to the Authorized Payment Method. You authorize us to charge your Authorized Payment Method for the applicable fees for your subscription until outstanding fees under this Agreement have been paid in full. You further authorize us to use a third party to process payments, and consent to the disclosure of your payment information to such third party. In the event of a failed attempt to charge to your Authorized Payment Method (e.g. if your Authorized Payment Method has expired or is no longer valid), we reserve the right, and you authorize us, to retry billing your Authorized Payment Method. In the event that you or we (through our payment service providers) update your Authorized Payment Method to remedy a change in validity or expiration date, we will automatically resume billing you for your subscription. As further described below, you also remain responsible for updating your contact information and Authorized Payment Method, as well as any amounts you fail to pay in connection with your subscription, including collection costs, bank overdraft fees, collection agency fees, reasonable attorneys’ fees, and arbitration or court costs.


3.1 Updating Authorized Payment Methods. If you want to use an Authorized Payment Method, or if there is a change in your information, you may edit your information by accessing your account setting page. It is your responsibility to keep your contact information and payment information current and updated.

3.2 Suspension. If any fee is not paid in a timely manner, or if we are unable to process your transaction using the Authorized Payment Method provided, we reserve the right to revoke your access to the services until payment is made in full or your subscription is terminated.

4. Trends Special Offers. We may enable special offers for certain eligible groups. If you qualify and subscribe through a special offer, you will be billed the advertised special rate for one year and automatically renewed at the regular list rate for any term after that.

5. Cancellation and Termination. Your access to Trends will continue in effect until you cancel your account, or we terminate it.

5.1 Cancellation. You may cancel your Trends account at any time; however, there are no refunds for cancellation after the date of purchase. You may cancel your subscription by navigating to the “Subscription” tab within the My Account page. If you cancel before the end of your billing cycle you will have access to your account for the remainder of the billing cycle. You must cancel your account before it automatically renews each month or year (depending on which account you select) in order to avoid billing of the next term’s fees to your Authorized Payment Method. All payment obligations are non-cancelable and all amounts paid are non-refundable, except as specifically provided for in this Agreement.

5.2 Termination. In the event that we terminate your subscription for your breach of this Agreement, you understand and agree that you shall receive no refund or exchange for any unused time on a subscription.

6. Amendment and Waiver. We may modify any part or all of this Agreement by posting a revised version of these Trends Payment Terms, the website Terms of Use, and the Privacy Policy, so be sure to check in for updates; by continuing to access the services, you agree to these updates. No delay in exercising any right or remedy or failure to object will be a waiver of such right or remedy or any other right or remedy. A waiver on one occasion will not be a waiver of any right or remedy on any future occasion.
